92' Cherokee Speaker Ideas
I have a 92' cherokee and will be replacing the factory speakers soon. Any ideas on what would work good. Also any suggestions on subs and amps.
This is what i have been thinking of getting:
Infinity Reference 5022i 5 1/4 in. for the front doors and the tailgate
JVC Arsenal KD-A605 TO replace the kenwood Kdc-217 that is already in there
I was thinking about two 10'' bazooka tube amplified subs but i cant decide if i want to go that route or if i want a box and amp. if you have suggestions on this that would help (especially on subs)

Do you have the rear sound bar (speakers on a panel)? I'm running a Kenwood KDC 204? deck, Kenwood Bass package (amp KAC62-2 and 2 12's KDC W1125) Kenwood 5 1/2's (something sport) in the doors and sound bar and Kenwood 6x9's in the hatch and vibrate the neighbor's house with rock and country and still sound sweet.

I have Alpine 6x9s in the front doors and the rear hatch, and a Power Acoustik BAMF (Bad *** *****..Shut yo mouth) 1600W amp powering the 4 6x9s and 2 Rockford Prime 12s in the cargo hold.
Let's just say I can hear everything JUST fine.

My whole system is only about 450 brand new, deck came with 5 1/2's for 99 during x mas sales, other set of 5 1/2's were 59, 6x9's were 120, amp and subs were 150 (thanx crutchfield), built my own box using rockfords box tool (like 25 for everything including 5/8 plywood, carpet and silcone caulk) and a cheap wiring kit.

4 wheel drive hardware (4wd.com) has sub boxes with or without subs that fit in the rear hatch of 84_01xjs, they sit in the reseses out of the way. 99.00 no subs just enclosures and 149.00 with 400 watt subs plus i got 5.25 sonys 200 watt for the doors. good luck .The subs are called the xj pods they dont use up any of your cargo space in the back hatch area.
