Default 1991 Laredo bad oil leak has formed...HELP

I have a 1991 Laredo 4.0 and what started as a drop about the size of a dime has become the size a coke bottle(length wise). It just started doing this after a 250 mile round trip to NC and back.

I also noticed it has some small "splatters" going towards the back of the vehicle now to. Is this a bad valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, or other ?

Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

The "0" rings in the oil filter mount are a common culprit. You also want to make sure that deal coming out of the top rear of your valve cover and its tube are clear. It sucks from the crankcase helping to keep pressure from blowing oil out somewhere. (I returned the rear main seal I had bought after I found my tube completely clogged). Of course if you clean it well then watch right away with good light you will find it. Watch that filter mount. It will blow back and drip off the bottom of the bell housing. Have fun!

you can also check the valve cover at the back of the engine those few lonely bolts back there have a habit of working loose
