Default 1987 Radio/Clock, PLEASE HELP

The other day i was removing my heater control unit and somehow it got crossed with something(i was an idiot and did not unplug battery) and my clock and radio are no longer working. I checked my fuse box and my blower motor fuse was blown, but my radio fuse was fine, but replaced with a new one anyways. Wired new unit and replaced blower fuse and the heater works fine, but my radio and my clock still do not work, but my ciggarette lighter does, anybody know what i need to replace? is there a fuse elsewhere? PLEASE HELP

sometimes at the back of the radio deck there is a secondary fuse that can blow out if hot wires are crossed, based on what you've said i would check there next.

I checked the small fuse and it was fine, it will wouldn't explain the small clock to the left of the radio not working either, do you think theres a fuse somewhere else or something shorted out? I'm at a loss, really thinking of just running a hot wire from under the hood with an inline fuse to my radio

yeah my '87 had practically no wiring for the deck from the PO. i ran a jumper fuse from my dome light to the radio, works like a charm. every time. The only other thing i can think of right now for yours is possibly a fried cable or connection from shorting out. but trust me go get a fuse jumper if you want a pic i can grab one of mine in the morning and show you.
