Default 134a or R12?

I have a 92 Laredo that I recently acquired and need to get the AC going. Does mine use 134a or R12?

Most likly R12. Look at your compressor it should say or you can look at your service ports and if they are big then its 134A and if they are small like for your tire its R12.

thanks for the replies, do I have to do any conversions to change over to 134a? Different hoses or anything?

Well can I just go buy all the hoses and connections and do myself? I know I'll have to do a vac on all the old crap first, and we actually have vac machine at our firehouse, so I can take care of that.
