Weekly Update:
So I picked up some stuff and got to work on Wednesday. Oldblue cleaned and painted the axle so by the time I got there it was ready to bolt in. Surprisingly even though the lca mounts are higher they went back to their same caster adjustment, no changes needed there. Everything went right back and had no issues. I have some serious ball joint issues on my passenger side where you have to wack it with a hammer for it to move a little so new ones are in the future. As well as the stock drag link end at the knuckle is toast. I knew these issues when I swapped the axle months ago but now with the new brackets I opted to not put a steering stabilizer on so we will see how it drives. Already PM'd CavFab about their setup and looking to run that soon. JCR arrived and very happy with the shipping and packaging of the products. Biggest thing was getting the front axle in and have the jack stands pulled out from under it for the first time in a long time. Going to clean up the rear end parts (hitch, skid, swing out) before bolting it back through but at least now it's moveable. Primed the driver's side slider and now that just needs to be painted.

Found this picture I missed from Rausch back in April. Can't wait to go again after all this. New brackets and steering will put the old setup to shame.
Update Time!
It's been a while. First off, headliner was hanging like the throat of a chicken. Needed to fix that. Took the old headliner and everything out and a night cutting and putting the new liner on. I have to say, it really looks great in person. Helps bring in light that the black floor takes away. It's different from other plaid headliners i've seen and I like that.
That was Wednesday. Saturday I spent the day replacing both sets of ball joints and installing the CavFab's steering. Ball joints went easy, so did drilling the holes for the steering. Now thoughts; the steering is beef. Makes the ZJ tie rod look like a tooth pick and the original tie rod look like it'll bend by looking at that 1.25x.25" DOM tubing. Came very nicely packaged and wrapped in what i believe was 5lbs of clear wrap. Heims were already screwed on and tight so no confusion on which went where. This kit does not come with instructions so it took a few google images to figure out the setup. You want the 2 sets of misalignment spacers on the drag link as that'll be what has articulation while flexing, no need for spacers with the tie rod as it has smaller joint for the bolt to make a tight fit. Steering went out just fine, but it's rubbing... I am just short of being full lock to lock on either end. The steering hits my track bar bolt on the passenger side and the coil bracket on the driver's side. When i messaged Cavfab prior to ordering he said I should be fine and that it clears most aftermarket diff covers, not that he was wrong but having minimal brackets I don't see how this kit works on any setup without rubbing something. It's safe to drive and got it up to 60mph with no issues having no sway bars or stabilizer. My only solution i see is bending the tie rod out just an inch. But i'm happy with the kit and still would not go high clearance, that would be overkill for my clearance issues.

Yeah it looks that way. I really like it, I've been eyeballin' it ever since he got his site up. I like the cavfab products and I want to do the 3-link soon.
