Honestly I'm not sure to either. I have been wondering and asking around for months what the thing with the wires is by the firewall and the solenoid I disconnected since it has a bunch of chopped wires and was connected directly to the battery and alternator. The thing by the firewall is attached to all wires from the interior harness and not the engine harness though. This is a police package xj so maybe it has to do with that but I can't identify them myself. In good news I got it started this morning and drove it around. Surprisingly the only triggered code was the disconnected o2 sensors
