THE SARGE! The build of a stronger soldier
I happened... I purchased this thing last year after brandon relocated out of the area.
I wasn't even aware a build thread existed for this... I have just been personal friends with him for a long time.
Brandon had already moved and was storing this at another friends property, i caught wind he was selling it, and i drove over the mountain to grab it.
I bought it sight unseen, he even let me make payments on it with a down payment. (Thanks)
She was rough, it had been sitting in a field in Salem, with the windsheild removed, covered with a load tarp sitting on a trailer with a flat tire.
All the interior had been removed, and inside was the start to an interior roll cage.
I have no clue how long it was sitting out there but I know six months at least, left some jumper cables on it for 5 minutes and she fired right up.
when I got home I removed all the interior, had it towed to my friends Fab shop, and had him finish where brandon left off, came out great ill have to find some pics.
the interior is back in, along with windsheild, jeep is turn key ready to wheel, you guys will get a kick out of this, Brandon never really drove this thing on the street with the one ton axles, I've driven it to work multiple times hahahaha and shes golden!
The man can weld lol
Small history lesson: I would guess somewhere around six or seven years ago i actually sold brandon alot of the parts for sarge, my friend's brother rolled a Cherokee with a 100k miles, I needed the engine out of it and Brandon needed the interior and the tranny.
luckily for me I still remembered my old Cherokee forum password from 10 years ago the last time I was probably logged into it...
Anyway thats the story, Brandon is alive and doing well and living a New Life in Texas. I have the jeep, and to be honest it doesn't get driven near as much as it should, it's in my backyard behind the fence.
I may have rescued it but I certainly don't have time for it. Just wanted to pop in here and let you guys know the jeep's done And it is for sale.
