You will LOVE that machine. I have the 187 (older model, basically the same). Get a bottle of 75/25 and a roll of good wire from the LWS, and you are golden. I run .023 on sheet metal and .030 on everything else. Have burn many pounds of wire in that machine.

Biggest issue I have had is grinding dust ****ers up the relay(?). Keep it away from the grinding as much as you can and blow out the machine regularly. Otherwise the relay(?) sticks and keeps feeding wire or the wire will stay hot at all times. Blow it out and good to go.

Camping trailer update:

Rust Stripped and frame painted, new floor, new hubs, new rims and tires, new hitch and new wiring. This will get me through this summers adventure season. Next to come is a custom tarp topper and bed lining. I cant decide if i should lengthen the hitch or not. I quess we'll see how it does on the trails.

I had wanted to go with an e locker, but I just could swallow $934 when Its only a Dana 30. Actually just bought a tru Trac. With as much winter driving as I do, I didn' want an auto locker with a manual transmission, so I opted for a limited slip front end. If I ever do a d44/ 9 inch swap or tons, I'll go to e lockers.
