Pretty sure its a China special. What I am curious about is the main flange. It looks thicker then the factory one. Not going to be able to get the intake manifold tight if it is...
Looks about the same thickness as my aftermarket header - which was the same thickness as OE (I checked 'cause I originally thought the same thing).
Got some more lights working tonight. Shifter light and check engine light are back in business. Just needed new bulbs. I got my front right running light working for about a day and then it stopped working. Pretty sure the union thats plugs into the light is bad. Dont get any continuity on one of the ground post. One thing at a time.
Well, I didn't do, having it done.. :-( The Cherokee is down in Ecuador and has to be taken care off.
1. Power steering leak turned out to be pressure hose, they had to rebuild. Replacement runs there $136 (OEM), they rebuilt mine for $25 (use the same end fittings).
2. Radiator had several leaks, probably original (99), replacement needed, $183 there...
+ labor, coolant, power steering fluid, etc... If I was there I would have done all myself, but.. :-(
At least y'all got some snow to play in. We didn't get enough this winter to even need 4X. Should have bought street treads instead the ATW3's I reckon. LOL
I have a 1995 Cherokee Country with power windows. Does anyone know if the window switches were lit or if there is a way to retrofit some that do. Just tired of fumbling for the right switch when it’s dark.
Got the radio working again, found out my amp is in "protective mode" for some reason, changed the oil pressure sensor that I believe may be the culprit to the oil spray i've been getting in that area (already replaced the oil filter o rings and the distributor gasket), and bought this bad momma jomba https://www.harborfreight.com/14-in-...saw-62459.html. Time to get serious
Haven't had a Cherokee for prob 8 years, but I still get the daily email update on this thread, great forum guys , if my job moved I would buy my 4.0 back in a heartbeat great car .

Happy driving guys .
Remember , rubber side down !

Window switches were never lit. I've owned a 92 and now own a 96. The switch plate is solid except for the switch openings. To my knowledge there are no aftermarket solutions. The 97+ models may have had lighted switches, I don't know. The 97+ door panels might mount to the doors but the wiring would be the real issue if they do light up.
i was let down the first time i put a JEEP in the snow. You quickly learn there are some things you can't do. Good tires and lockers really help but dragging axles always gets me so I've since stopped playing in snow
