If I'm going through all the work to pull it off I'm going to replace it while I'm at it. The bolt is missing for the belt tensioning set up, so I decided to call it a day yesterday and I will be going back home in a few weeks probably to work on it again. In the mean time I'll order a belt, pump, and go to the junkyard to grab a bolt from one of those Cherokees.

Good deal. You'll get it man...just frustrating at times
Thermostat is a couple weeks old, and worked. I was thinking that too, but the heater core hoses were cool too and those wouldn't be cool if there was any coolant moving
I was actually thinking of that as a second thing to check if it weren't the T-stat.
maybe try a back flush on the heater core hoses. Sounds like that might be where your coolant blockage could be at.

A blockage in the heater core wouldn't cause it to overheat, it would just keep it from producing heat
Thanks. I went for a drive this morning to test it out. It was nice to not have to keep one eye on the road and the other on my coffee mug flopping around.
Found the source of my death wobble, the nuts/bolts holding the track bar bracket in place all were super loose. Idk why it didnt DW before I parked it
tightened them all up, installed a Monroe steering stabilizer that I bought like 2+ years ago, no more death wobble
That blows man... I feel your pain. I miss my old Sony CDX-F7700 that I had in my Dakota and S10. It was a killer deck in its day before the dawn of USB and Bluetooth decks. Mine wasn't color OLED, but it was the Dot Matrix display and I really REALLY miss the graphic EQ function. It was a lot easier to set a good frequency curve on the fly than it is with my Sony MEX-N5100BT that's in the Jeep now... major pain in the but having to go in and select each of the 10 channels on the EQ individually and set them to a certain number rather than just moving a slider up and down (first world problems, I know). Of course, you can have the easy bar-slider EQ adjuster if you download Sony's ****ty Songpal app... but I really didn't like the interface and, it was an unnecessary "link in the chain" so-to-speak. Android interfaces just fine with the deck without having the stupid Songpal app getting in the way of technology. And the app had lots of bugs in it besides.
Setting the equalizer was a true pain in the rear until I downloaded the Kenwood "remote app", which sounds like it as crappy as the Sony one, lol. The Pioneer had a great graphic eq that, like you said, was easy to tweak on the fly. Also had a dedicated subwoofer level button which was nice so I didn't need to mount a separate gain ****
It also will auto-switch to radio if it doesn't detect bluetooth audio for some time (I think I can disable that), but it scared the ever-loving **** out of me while I was trying to merge around a few semi-trucks and fast moving traffic on the highway. I had the volume set pretty high, and hadn't tuned it into a radio station so all of a sudden static noise came in cranked all the way to 11. Almost had a heart attack, lol
