I don't know why some folks have such trouble with this bumper. Yes, it was a PITA to install. But when done correctly, and all adjustments made, it works great!
NICE JEEP! ^^^^

Can you take some closeups of how your hilift is mounted?
The brackets they gave me don't actually fit, unless I'm doing something wrong which is entirely possible

So does the driver side ubolt fit through that tiny space right in between the tire carrier and the metal plate here? (near the top of the tube, not the slats in the plate)
Just installed the XRC rear bumper on FrankenJeep 2. Instructions were definitely lacking, and showed hinge and cam components that were quite different that what was in the kit. Getting that whole hinge/washer/cam thing lined up and adjuster right was a PITA. But, it's on, it works, and it looks great.
One problem, with the 48" jack mounted across the top it interferes with rear hatch lifting, even when swung all the way open. The only way it will work is if we mount the jack with the base to the drivers side, and slide it way over, but that looks kinda silly. It's probably just the design of this particular jack. We can put it vertical in that pocket.
Also, this sucker is very HEAVY! Especially when that huge spare and jack get mounted up. With that much weight that far back, I'm thinking we need another inch or so of lift in the rear to even out the stance.
But overall, I'm impressed with the quality and design of this unit. Might consider and XRC front bumper in the future.
