Twinning lol. This axle had some wierd standard sized lower ball joint nut on it and was a pain looking for a socket to fit, was like a 1" 1/8 or something.
1 1/8 and 32mm are within like 1/100 of an inch in size so either way works.
Rained last night without me knowing and the axle was out drying. Sunny and hot all day at work and come home and start painting only for a thunderstorm to roll up. This humidity is making the paint dry so slow.
I have a different diff cover I'm putting on. This is a placeholder so nothing gets in the diff.
All painted, yoke and pinion pulled, and ball joints in. **** Dana 30 ball joints. This axle is ready to go in now. Time to tear down the one under the jeep and swap everything over. Not looking forward to trying to unbolt my UCAs.
95° out and I work at 1pm tomorrow. So I decided to tear my axle out the jeep. Everything's gone smoothly until the UCAs as I expected. About to tackle those. The goal is to hopefully get the new axle under before work. Run it
Swapping axles shouldn't be that bad, those rubicon express control arms makes them a breeze to install...
everything went smoothly until I forgot about the drill, otherwise it would've been done. I've never done this before and it was hot as hell so it took awhile for me.
Found out why my pinion seal was leaking after the locker install
almost done. Just tightening all the bolts under the weight of the vehicle. Still need to torque the pinion and drivers side control arms, but I have to work. We also put in the 5.5" coils in because reasons. Ride with the Carolina Squat for a week or so.

Do you have progressive bumpstops? Is that what the red thing in that coil is?
