hopefully around summer time. Need to get the long arms, no lift relocators, and 2" shackles beforeI even think about running them lol. Alot's going to happen to it: SYE, stiffeners, custom rock sliders, etc.
Are there videos of you wheeling? I feel like that would be entertaining to watch.
Did you fix it on the trail, or get it towed? How'd you like the locked/locked life? Empowering, isn't it?
Unfortunately I'm the "camera man" in our group. So there isn't much of me actually wheeling. Not really any videos either, I've posted all I have on Facebook and am slowly posting them on Instagram.
We fixed it there on the trail, actually had to leave it overt night because I had to get ball joints (which were still under warranty and saved me $100). Slapped a new shaft in and pounded the ball joints in with a hammer because my stupid *** forgot the rental press. Didn't do anymore wheeling to be safe and drove home fine going 70.
I'm liking the lockers. Front really doesn't do anything, but I'm use to the rear now with the tight turns and the spinning of 2 tires lol.
It's been a minute, never uploaded the pictures I took. About to head out with Bub and his V8 swapped XJ. Met up with Mike and his ZJ. AWD locked F&R is not fun in turns Left to right: AresFab, Brandon, Jon, and MikeMid-trail stop Picture doesn't really do it justice. We got lost in the dunes Sam's poor Explorer 4x4 stopped working, uphill climb, bald center tires, pissing tranny fluid... this was fun Used a tree as a pivot. He didn't get much farther, I had to winch him up eventually.
