Why did you take that foam part out?

How did you Get it out?

What are you going to do to "fix" the headliner?

What do you mean foam part? I scraped all the glue off the headliner with a vinyl brush. There are a couple cracks in it that I want to patch up. I have been recycling used dryer sheets for that very day. I am finishing it now. I will post pics when its all said and done

The needles are just painted. They don't have their own light source

What did I do to my Cherokee today?
Well, I checked the oil level - perfect. Checked the tire PSI - still good.

Then I drove it to my friends house and it started making a strange "knocking" noise. Then it went away. Went to drive it home, got about 10 miles down the road and the power steering pump siezed and blew the impeller shaft out the front bearing seal.

Limped it into a parking lot at about 1:30 AM. Called my insurance for roadside assistance - the tow company they dispatched to was in Colorado Springs (like 60 miles away). Got that adjusted to a company in Denver that only had one truck running.
Called 5 other tow companies and their estimates were all 3+ hours. Said **** that - called an Uber and locked up the truck.
Tow scheduled for 9 AM.

So, what did I do to my Cherokee today? I broke it (again)

EDIT:
So, in 3 months - this will be the 3rd PS pump I am replacing it with. First one was a junkyard pull that was mostly bad, but cheap so I ran it till it died. 2nd one was bad out of the box (no pressure at idle), and this third one lasted about 600 miles before siezing out of nowhere.
Belt tension is verified at 140lbs with a Krikit II

What the eff
