I was thinking of piecing a spectre one together but that looks so nice and not too bad of price I might just have to. Let us know how hard it is to get in and clean the air filter.
Well i finally bit the bullet and bought a new NSS. Yes i know it can be cleaned, but i had the extra cash laying around, that would have just gone to groceries (im a bachelor, we eat ramen and coffee) so i bought it for $180, and i will clean up my current one and keep it for a spare. Hopefully this fixes my no OD problem. Meanwhile i am chasing a major vibration above 65mph. feels like the driveline u-joints are out, as it is the one that came with the rear end, but they are all tight. Beginning the thing the pinion angle is to blame, but the driveline is pointed right to the transfer case. with no deflection at the rear end.
Couple Updates....have not had time to swap in the NSS, however, i found a 90 Eliminator MJ, that the guy would be willing to do a trade on. So Blueberry may be going bye bye, for a MJ build
I have mixed feelings about your trade. I'm excited to see what you do with the MJ but I love your XJ!
Me to, however i have always wanted to get back into an MJ. I am still kicking myself for selling my 87 in college. I havent really bonded with Blueberry, and i am knocking it up as my first real off road build...a stepping stone of sorts. I did some things wrong, took short cuts, etc. The MJ will be a proper build....just on a slower time line.
