Don't swap tires until you have time? You can have your tires changed and fenders trimmed in a day. That's all you need. Heck maybe half a day if the tire shop isn't too busy

Whenever you have time, measure and mark where you would trim. That way when you finally get the tires change, all you have to do is cut and that is easy.

Post up a pic of your current setup so we can better see what you have to work with. The BFG 33x12.50 MTs measure out to 32.8"

Will do, I have a good amount of room in the front. I am more worried about the back.

Maybe I missed it but how much total lift do you have currently? I only read Rusty's full packs and blocks.

This is 3" on 33s with no trimming

Looking for some advice on a lift-forumrunner_20161028_130413.png

And this is 3" sagged on 35s with a small amount of trimming

You should be able to fit those 33s with some trimming. Thats plenty of lift in my opinion. Nice jeep btw

Get flares first so you dont over cut, then wont be able to install flares. Better safe than out 400 bucks.

well cant delay needing tires and don't want to spend 1000 bucks on same small size. if I over cut then I over cut. only going to cut what is needed, so wouldn't matter if I get flares first or not.

If I cant install the flares ill make some out of steel rod. the flares arnt a big deal to me. just making sure these things will fit. plus in my household we have another xj with 4.5 and 35's. will be installing the front flares soon and it has already been trimmed. so ill know if they fit or not by comparing trim work on mine to trim work on his. it will be okay. just need my tires. tired of getting stuck due to skinny tires
