Picked me up a 1980 CJ5 this afternoon. Now I have my hands full!
Looking forward to a new build

Sadly the CJ deal fell through. Damn guy didn't say he had it on E-Bay also. Went to pick it up and he told me "someone bought it on E-Bay BUY IT NOW. I was confident we had a done deal yesterday- don't usually carry 5K cash on me

A fewweeks ago I picked up some longer coil springs for the front/ leafs for back to bring it to a 6" lift. Installed the coils, finally got the right pinion angle up front too- and ordered a new set of RE hangers for the back so I can get the RE leafs installed. They're longer than the set on her now. Also ordered a new set of rings/ pinions to re-gear Ugly to 4.88.
After the regear, i'll stiffen the frame then drop on 35's. Getting excited
