I am starting a thread talking about factory options that some people know about and many would never have even thought about can cover all years but if your input is intensively year specific please include that...

I will start with what i know for 1997-2001 XJ's:
front tow hooks
rear tow hook w/ or w/o hitch
rear tail light guards
fog lights
extended idle switch
bike carriers and luggage and ski carriers for the roof racks
trailer hitches
rear swing away tire carriers
roof mounted tire carriers (my buddy bought one at a swap meet its so cool)
heated seats
overhead consoles
running boards
front skid plate
t-case skid plate
gas tank skid plate

thats all i can think of for now...please contribute

 

My '92 Laredo has factory cup holders. Gasp!!!

 

ABS braking system I know was optional at least from 91-01.

Only jeep xj without ABS had the chrysler 8.25 rear end from the factory, all these are c clip.

 

The running boards would be a dealer option because of shipping they could be damaged.

 

Several different gears available with the AW4 trans .3.55 and 3.73 some of the manuals had 4.10's.
