Sweet XJ, digging the wheels. Renix pride!

I'm wanting to run 33x10.5 also.

Took the Jeep to Rausch yesterday! Rented a Uhaul trailer for just $55 and strapped the Jeep down. Pick up was not very happy on the pulls but kept it's speed once I got it up there. It was amazing. Jeep did phenomenal and next time I'll hit harder trails. I did mostly greens as it was my first time there and testing the setup since I did all the recent work. A couple blues and one black, which by the way I was separated from my group by bad directions (on leader) and bad communications (my fault). But I went through the black with no issues and found my group again. Fiance was getting sore after some of the harder trails so I let off and went down the fun greens. Some of those greens were much more challenging than I thought though. The Aussie locker crawled over everything, I just crawled over it all. Ran the KM2s at 10psi and had no issues. We stayed on the South & West property, North was closed. It was a blast. Most of the pictures are still being processed by the club's photographers so more to come. Can't wait to go again, everything about Rausch was great.

I feel the pain on towing with one of those trucks with a jeep on the back. When the motor went on mine I rented a u haul, and borrowed an f150 same body style and color and towed 100 miles to my buddys property to put a motor in it. That was a rough drive lol. Jeep looks good, looking forward to the pictures. I really would like to go to rausch creek one day just a super long drive from where I live.

Honestly I felt really bad for the engine and trans on the inclines. At one point for 10 minutes we had it pinned at 2500 rpms going 8mph up a super steep hill. We learned to never go cheap and avoid tolls haha ended up only costing me about $14 in tools anyway, spend more on gas taking the back roads. But the bumps weren't that bad. I hear you on the trip. I would love to check out Uwharrie but that's like an 8hr trip.

Rausch is 10 hours, Uwharrie is 12 hours. Then theres some places in the mountains a few states south of me around 8 hours aswell. When I finally do travel out of my 2-3 hour radius Its gunna be trouble deciding lol

Plus trailer time haha that's always an extra hour or so. I lost an average 20 miles per quarter tank of gas. Usually get 100-120 per quarter, first quarter was 80, second was 60 with all the hills.

Seriously the rear locker made a huge difference. Where people who were open would struggle I was just crawling over everything.

Thanks! Good luck with the website/store. Keep on watching, things aren't done yet!

Haha it was my fiance's first time wheeling outside of state game land trails at school. She was a great passenger and had a lot of fun. This section you couldn't really see what was over the top, so we were looking out at both angles.
