B lees 3 link kit can be run with 3" lift. I'd keep the lift you have and throw a sye in and long arms. I plan to stay at 3" with (hopefully) notch flares sometime, and b lee long arms.

Im at 5in lift. If i were to do it again i would get long arms for sure. Theres so many "small" things that come with lifting to make a complete and dependably performing setup that add up to a very costly lift. Save your money and get long arms. I want the B. Lee 3link as well, super awesome.

The ride height is up to you and what type of terrain you frequent. Low center of gravity is great especially on windy highway days lol. A full width axle helps folks with super high lifts get back to or better than stock center of gravity depending on rim backspacing and tire size

This is where one side of me sits. I wont go 35's. because i dont want to lose that much articulation for our mountain trails, rocks and creek bars.. I would like to find a set of loaner 33's to test run for a day.

I do like my Low COG i have, Agreed on the "small things" that add up. We are headed to moab in 4 weeks, so i might just see how she works. If she handles Moab fine, i will have no issues in the mountains. We dont have really any Mud to speak of. most of what i do is rocky trails. I keep leaning towards spending the money on a proper SYE, a set of bilstein shocks, and full adj control arms and lockers, chrome moly's. UP to this point i have spent most of my time doing the basic supporting upgrades.

instead of doing adjustable control arms go with long arms. Sye lockers and and bilsteins are good. I would recommend leaving stock shafts as your "fuse" stock shafts rarely break with 33s anyway, but when they do it's cheaper than buying a new carrier if that's the weak link with the chromoly.

I would say do that then. Those are all upgrades that need done if you go heigher anyway. But with the 3in lift those upgrades will make you VERY capable. I agree though that you should keep stock shafts. Much easier to find and way cheaper to replace.
With the SYE it will ensure you dont give excess strain on all the other engine componants. Even at 3in the angles are different. Although you probably cant feel the vibes im sure they are there. Also if you hapen to break the rear shaft your front one will be the perfect replacement!

Adj. CA are good but man those long arms are worth it. People preach them for a reason. At my height i can feel every bump in my seat instead of my suspension cycling like it should. It works obviously but its all about angles just like the driveline. The bilstein shocks will just make all of those upgrades a cadillac jeep ride for ya and with lockers...i think youll be just happy as a clam with your setup.

If you know anyone with 33s see if they could just let you put them on for even an hour or so in a trail spot or something...see if they are worth it

Finally got the RE track bar, bracket and brace on. The brace mounting holes on the passenger side rail didnt quite line up, as ive heard, but some cleaning with a rat tail rasp cleamed em up enough to fit.

Is the bar in the back on the top that goes from drivers to passenger side the brace? Did it make any difference?

Yes that's the brace. Ive only ran it about 10 miles on pavement, so i havent had a chance to really test it.

Will do. i figured it cant hurt, i drive allot of washboardy potholed USFS roads, and my stock TB ball joint was taking a beating. I got this setup(bar, brace, bracket) off Amazon.com for under $200 if i remember. Gonna try to get out friday and run. Right now im chasing a "clunk" when i reverse and shift to drive. Thinking i need to re-torque control arms. Living in an apartment 100 miles away from homeduring the week really limits my wrenching time until i can close on a new house.

I had the same issue. Fortunately it was just a loose LCA bolt and not a screwed up bushing. I had to retorque mine 6months after my lift it seemed. Good luck on getting a house, a garage and driveway is my requirement....no more tow trucks please

Ive retorqued mine once, but it took a beating last summer, probably time to re-torque. Yea....company relocation, trying to sell my house and buy a new one and live in an apartment all at the same time.

Well productive weekend,

Got my Steering Gear brace installed. It is not the beefiest, but it works.
Got my JCR steering box spacer and frame tie-ins installed.

Installed my stainless brake lines, now need longer shocks.

Got my roof rack shortened down

added my spring spacers and lift shackles. Now sits at 4.5" front and 5" rear. NO vibrations aside from a slight hum at 55mph.

For reference, I wear an Extra Large Glove and my middle finger tip to first joint is 1.25". This is on the rear wheel well.

Also installed these SKidRow Control arm Skids. I am still undecided on them, so we will see how they do in moab.

Installed my guages, however moving the senders away from the thermostat housing resulted in a 30* temperature drop on both dash and aux guage. I will need to figure out another way to mount the aux sender unit, as the factory sender will read to cold for the computer/ fuel injection.
