when I go to the gas pump it clicks off as it would be full but then when i start the jeep the gas gauge wont be all the way up only like 3 quarters what could be wrong? ive got a 1999 jeep cherokee classic. any help appreciated thanks

 

How many gallons go in it? Have you checked to see that your fuel sender is working properly? Do you try to start the pump again after it stops?

 

Ya I would have to ask how many gallons are going in it at the pump so you know you are full and sending unit.
