You better have an upgraded harness to run those and aim them right.

harness dont make a dang... mine are great with the stock harness... dont need it any brighter... i cleaned all my plugs out and rebuilt with new wire looms and they cant get any better... lol...

 

But what bulbs do you run?

100w bulbs will melt the oem headlight switch in about 2 minutes.

 

mine will be 10 gauge not 18 or 16

 

whatever cheapos that came in/with the light... lol...

 

i dunno what the max is for the stock stuff... thats a lot of wiring to replace... lol...

 

It's not bad at all. You don't replace it. You just build a relayed circuit off of it.

 

yeah like the putco kit... but i got no need for it...

 

All that stuff is easy to do... If a 12 year old can do it you can do it

 

never said i couldnt do it... just cant justify it is all... lol...

 

I wonder what your bulbs are? I'd upgrade it if it was anything of 70w low's but thats just me... I'm going a lil overkill

 

I literally can see as good as my wk2... Only thing I want is to get rid of the yellow tint... Without hid's hassles and failures... Gotta be a pure white bulb,someone makes...

 

Um so I almost died Friday night (Saturday morning) on my way home from work...

that first pic is how I actually landed.. I flipped rolled and slid her up a effn tree or four (((( landed on the driver side I had to climb out the passenger window.. no more Miranda... :'-(

 

Holy Hell!! Glad you are ok man that looks rough!! Is anything salvageable??
