Ya man! My tps was installed wrong, and IAC was on opposite. Once I got a new TPS and cleaned/remounted the IAC everything was purring like it rolled off the assembly line.

Not much difference but a slight change in rpm. Switching it around stabilized the RPM to 750ish.

You can raise/lower idle if you wanted to change it any....theres an adjuster on the throttle body.

I've played with mine quite a bit trying to drop the idle as much as possible to get it to lope lol. My 5speed is idling fine around 600rpm. Doesn't try to stall or anything.

I still dont see how flipping the idle air controller does anything... it was probably when you cleaned it is what fixed it. The IAC justs moves in and out.

Assumin your talking bout the stop screw? Mine was outta whack, the throttle body valve wasnt shutting all the way.

Jac, sorry I haven't gotten back to you either.
For the headlight harness for my waggy what would you need? Is there any garuntee that I won't melt or fry something? Or should it be ok running all 4 lights?

I'm basically asking you opinion on running just 2 or running all 4. I'm coming from a upgraded harness & silverstars off my normal front end..and these waggy lights suck ***** lol.

No you wont melt anything. To give you an idea i havent even wired my highbeams yet (my low beams are the $10 walmart lights) because they are so bright.

Hmm any good pics of your lows on?
And are you getting your replacement sealed beams from walmart? I haven't found a replacement light for the waggy at all..autozone don't carry them. Napa either.

okay, so start yelling at me now. i didnt take a bunch of pics of the install for two reasons. 1. it was raining, and 2. its easy as hell. literally did it in 30 minutes. but i have some action shots.

installed (pic taken at work)

i reversed the solenoid box because i didnt want to cut my grill. needs more modification.

and a little backstory for the breaking in. It was mothers day, and my fiance wanted to go offroading. so i took her and the kids to the spot, only to find one of my wheeling buddies (chevyguy, chevywife, nowhres, and colby (he drives a toyota... so he isnt on here)) out and chevywifes xj was stuck pretty badly. Luckily i was out there with the 12k.

it was so muddy back there i had to anchor myself to the tree behind me to get her out. 5 minutes tops. definitely worth the investment.

FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT GETTING THIS WINCH

there is 100ft of wire line on this. it is a pain to sit there and baby the line. if you dont get it to spool perfectly, it will constantly pop the solenoid box off. it is a good winch, but it can definitely be shortened down. for the wheeling i do, 75-80 feet will be fine, the spool will be smaller, and the winch can pull more (less wraps on the winch means more power) for example;

with 5 turns on the drum, the winch can pull 12k, but with 5 layers of line on the drum, it can only pull 6k. the more line on a winch, the less power.

and im also going to switch to synthetic master pull line.
