The search continues. I've opened up the search to the 99-04 Grand Cherokees as well. Do the later 4.0 issues apply to the Grand Cherokees? How does the 4.7 hold up? Or is the 6 still the way to go?

I'm looking for something I can use as a driver for a few years and then throw some mods on it down the road.

 

Thought I'd give an update. Ended up getting a 2004 grand Cherokee. One owner, immaculate condition, 100k miles, 4.7HO.
Looking forward to enjoying it for years. Thanks to everyone for their input.
