Now that's pretty rare for one to be decently priced like that in OH. Usually all the XJs around here are $4k or more if they're in good shape. Especially if they're 2 door 5 speeds.

The first one I tried was a 470 ohm resistor and it still didn't work. I think at this point there's something else going on with it and I may need to just replace the setup all together.

Those are good as well. Since you're in SoCal you won't have to worry about snow. Here in NE OH I had them on my F150 and they weren't too great. Everything else they were good on.
