I would pull the gauge cluster and hit the connections with some dielectric grease . . i had a similar problem on my xj with the airbag light and gauges going dead . . fixed my problem. Good looking...

I cut the old perches off of mine fairly quick...

I cut the old perches off of mine fairly quick with a sawsall . . although i did spend a good bit of time with a flap disk to clean it up nice lol

Best bang for your buck as in its stronger than the 8.25, later models come with disk brakes, can be found with 3.55s, 3.73s, and 4.10s, open or LSD . .

And I have seen a welded d35 run 33s for 4 years with no problems . . not saying not to upgrade . . but to run just 31s why dump the money into an axle swap and locker?
