I had that problem before but my bolt snapped off in that weird sleeve nut. I ended up using an air hammer and knocking it off and replaced we a grade 8 bolt and lock washer. Never had a problem...

Belt dressing is a good way to ruin a belt. Yeah it helps at first but then once the belt dries out again it will be louder than before. The oils in the dressing breaks down the belt over time.

It's a very common problem with every vehicle. It's hard to make wipers specific for each vehicle that hug the window perfectly. 99% of wipers I sell and install do not touch 100% of the window.

Yes they wear out the motor and trans mount much faster. Proper way to make less problems is to just install an SYE kit (most common way) or if you have some mechanical ability doing a hack n tap.
