I am a mechanic. Not a race car tuner. But i have built enough motors to tell you there is nothing cheap you can do to a 4.0 that actually makes your jaw drop.

replaced. All good now after almost three years of abuse. I love the spartan locker!

I would not advise it. No reason to buy a lunchbox locker if you weld the diff properly.

I run welded in the rear, lunchbox up front.

I wouldn't want a lunchbox in the rear.

This is where people run into trouble. It's hard to clean good in the axle. Hard to get to places. Bad welds = problems. All for just not taking a couple more hours and removing the diff....

Pretty much what others have said. Going to a Jk 44 is a waste in my op. 35 with stock gearing sucks on the road and is hard on the tranny.

I run 36's on the same axle locked with no problems...
