Stock shackles will lower it some for sure. Better but slightly more money would be shackle relocation boxes. They are a huge boost to how your leafs perform.

I would have to think you have something else going on making the ride stiff. RE 4.5" springs have a good spring rate ~184lbs. They rode really nice with CADs and Bilsteins.

Because the faster the alternator spins the more power it puts out. The regulator keeps it at 13.8. A smaller pulley would up the idle power. I wouldn't worry about it.

Is your AC or Defrost on? The aux fan runs when the AC compressor comes on in either of those modes. If this is the case you likely need the system recharged, after checking for leaks.
