Hi there, Iv'e been trying to find info on this subject;..... I have an 88 XJ that ive mostly restored, a TJ totaled it about a month ago. So I got a 92 XJ not wrecked ,intact, good windows and doors, and a 4.0 H.O. motor 2WD. no trans. My plan is to transplant all of the new and other stuff i want to the 92. Now comes my query, will my 88 AW4 work in the 92, ive got complete HO wiring harness ,minus the trans wiring. Hoping to transplant all 4x4 components [ D35, NP231, AW4, D30 TP, drive shafts ]. My concern is will my AW4 work? Allot that iv'e read say allot of different things. Some say that it will, some that it will not. I know that i can get it "back to life" just thought you may have some insight. Read that you were compiling a compatibility of different year XJ's , thought you could help. Appreciate any advice you can lend on this project. feel free to email monkeyworx@gmail.com

Hello, I noticed that you have supplied other members with sets of battery cables for replacing them on XJs. I'm interested in getting some for mine, and would love to send my business your way. Please let me know if you're still in this business. Thanks, Sean

Hi. I'm new to this sort of thing but I just wanted to say thank you. The information you've posted about alternators and what upgrades are compatible have really helped. I like the idea of having some extra juice in my Cherokee. Thanks again.

    Greetings Jon,

I have a 1998 XJ and I'm looking to upgrade my battery and alternator cables. Curious if you're still selling your upgrade kits?
    Thanks,
    ~ Scott

Hello - I have really benefited from some of your posts about XJ head castings and compatibility. I am getting ready to swap a 1994 4.0L with an undocumented "stroked" bottom end into my 2000 XJ. Of course I will attempt to verify how built the block is before moving forward...anyway, would you mind if I send you questions as I move forward?

Read a reply of yours on a post about PCV valves, you were talking about CCV, Crank Ventilation. Im wondering if this could be my problem. My symptoms started off as a ticking noise from my transmission first only in reverse then progressively louder in all gears. Now it will not engage into any gears and I can run through the gears with the engine started without depressing the brake. I appreciate any info and thanks in advance

Read a thread with your posts about XJ and ZJ swaps. And was wondering if you could help a noobie withs some specifics.

I have a 1990 XJ 2Dr Sport auto trans. I'm turning into z rock crawler. My question is what year zJ I can use as a doner vehicle to upgrade my axles and tie rods, (and any other steering components).

Any help would be greatly apperciated
