What erks me the most is they think just because we are unibody we aren't a real Jeep. My buddy has a 91-92 Wrangler and ate his own words when I went everywhere he did plus more! Sometimes that added wheelbase and weight comes in handy! If they need any extra help here or there let me know. I only work when it snows in the winter. I do have a 2 yr old but if its planned in advance its a go for me.

I wasn't around much this past summer as I spent most of it doing concrete work around the Duluth/Superior area. As I think of it I remember riding with my buddy one day and him mentioning something about a Rubi XJ! He is new to Jeeps and offroading and I told him they don't make one. Then I saw your Jeep buzz by down the highway towards Eveleth. I don't know what it is about the word Rubicon on the XJs but I like it personally! Adds character IMO. If I get my XJ up and running in time a bunch of friends and I are going out to the Skibo area for some winter wheeling. There will be a little bit of everything from Jeeps to fullsize trucks and burbs to the Yota crowd. No real plans as of yet cause we all work!

I don't think I have seen your vehicles either! LOL! I've lived in the Mt.Iron, Virginia, Britt area for going on 25 yrs now! The XJ don't get out much as its not quite streetable yet. Starting next week hopefully I am going to be tearing the block apart to try and find why it has so much blow by. I swear in a 100 miles I can put a gallon of oil through it! Funny thing is the plugs aren't fouling out either. It has the typical cracked header too and needs all new exhaust. When I first got it I wasted money on lifting it instead of fixing things that were needed. It only has ~110k on it and I know the 4.0s can live for a long time as my 97 ZJ just turned 220k and its all original except the alt was just replaced two yrs ago.

Most of the time I am in my 96 ZJ though. If you haven't seen it I'm sure you know people who have. It is loud as hell as it is straight piped! Well recently mellowed a bit after putting a glass pack on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvgAgVfsP4U
