I just got my jeeps back in May of 2011. I’m still educating myself on the forums here.

Brasscatz--I live on Houston's West Side, not far from Bellaire and HWY 6. There's an off-road group here called Houston Jeep People. I met some of them and they seem like good folks---very friendly. They have an online web site and an email notification list of their Jeep events, both off-road runs and social events at barbeque places, stuff like that. I understand , I'm in the same financial boat . That's why I got to keep it light . Until I build it up to take the abuse , a little at a time . Besides right now I plan on having this thing a long while .

Not immature at all! I would love to be able to, but I just know that with my luck, I'll bust something and I just flat out don't have the cash to fix it! I get to spend some money on it in the meantime, tune up, u-joints, few rattle cans of paint for bumpers fender flares etc., and possibly some lights for my bumper. But those are all going to be spread out. When I get to the point where I'm making more, I get to buy a truck and this will be my toy!
