I am looking for a miracle here. You posted years ago about your Jeep Cherokee having absolutely no rear braking power and when on jack stands the wheels wont even stop. I have a 91 Wrangler with 9" rear drum brakes doing the exact same thing. My issue is that I have replaced EVERYTHING (MC, Prop Valve, Booster, shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, drums etc.) and yet the wheels still will not stop.

Did you ever find the cause and a solution for this? Is is possible that engine torque is simply overpowering the brakes? Any help is appreciated!

Hey, thanks for the input on the grille swap. Like your jeep. My next move is lift and I was thinking about the same OME 2" HD lift you have. What do you think about it? Do you wish you had gone bigger? Does the HD ride rough? What size tires are those?

Small world. I'm a couple of blocks to the west of Miller's Bay. And I don't look forward to Sawdust days/Fourth of July parking on the street. It drives my dogs crazy. My older Brother lives on Waugoo st. (down by the clubhouse at the end of the street.) At least the lakeflies haven't been too bad this year, Not yet anyways. Nice to meet ya and possibly you around.

Hello! I was just looking through some of the threads on CF. I also live in Oshkosh and only a couple of blocks from Miller's bay.

http://www.etrailer.com/bc-2000_Jeep_Cherokee.htm I don't know if this helps you out at all. I used to wire up brake controllers where I used to work. It should be a plug-n-play set up but I am not for sure of that since I don't have any of my books on it anymore. If you need anything else (and don't feel like getting pointless links) then let me know.
