Hey Mike - i remember speaking with you last year about some drivetrain issues - some new sensors in he trany and reman'd computer fixed the problem.

My newest question is - I'm replacing the 249 transfer case with a 242 - what year 242 can i get - knowing i'll have to swap the input shafts. can i put a newer 242 in? did they every change the TC housing, and if it comes off an AW4 transmission it should still bolt on the 42RE?

i'll ask around - but any input would be great

it depends on your tires I have 31" tall tires and if the fenders weren't trimmed they would rub

Mike, right now I have stock jeep wheels on my Cherokee. I put a 3 in lift on it and I want to bring the tires out a bit. If I put them on an 8in rim with 3.75" backspacing will they stick out too far? Right now it looks like you can tip over my jeep. lol. Thanks

I had to change the angle of the pinion 5deg for the CV shaft to work

what size lift and tires do you have? I just ordered a 6.5" RC lift for my 91. I'm curious if the cv joint will work for me as opposed to the sye? How much and where did u get it from?
