no problem! Make sure to start with the bottom panel that goes all the way across - it helps to have a manual that shows where all the screws are. The tricky ones are the ones that hold the bottom of the steering column cover on because they're small torx heads that are way up inside 2 little holes. Those took me a while to find the right tool cuz ya can't see em! It's like a t20 torx I think on mine. Taking that steering column cover off makes it WAY easier to remove the big bezel-trim piece that just pulls/snaps out after you take all the screws out. After that it's easy and all visible. Takes me about 45 mins to take apart, change bulbs or whatever and then reassemble so it's not that bad! I think I took like 90 minutes the first time, start to finish. I'd probably try and do it when the plastic isn't cold and brittle though. Definitely find a diagram for the screws if you can though, that really helps the first time!

I took my dash apart enough to pull the gauge cluster out to where I could reach them. There are gray twist-out bulb holders on the back of the gauge cluster, the top 3 are for the turn signals and the high beam, so I just left them white incandescent. There is one bulb for each large gauge and one bulb for the two outer, smaller gauges on each side, so I put in 4 green LEDs. I put 1.5W green SMDs (T10) in the large gauges and smaller, regular T10 green LEDs in the smaller gauges. It's pretty bright according to most people but it doesn't bother me. I did consider using only 1W SMDs in the larger ones, but will worry about that the next time I take my dash apart. If you do take the dash apart, go to the hardware store first and get extra screws like the ones holding the dash trim on - I found about half mine were missing when I got the trim off and was glad I had extras!

They're dirt cheap and easy to use! I tend to splice wires to add length. I've got one of these panels spliced in parallel with a 194 type 5-SMD plugged into the courtesy sockets on each side. No current/heat issues and been working fine for a month or so! I also have bigger white SMD panels in the dome lights - makes it like a warehouse inside people say - great for not losing things as often!
