Bought my Cherokee in 2013 because I didn't have a vehicle all of the sudden (my Matrix got totaled), Bought it for a few months since I was going to return to Ca., but met my would be wife and had to stay. The Jeep had a bad oil leak , motor mounts problems, crossmembers mounts worn, transmission seal leak, driveshaft joint bad...$900.00 dollars later I drove it home! Been taking it to the mechanic I was referred to for maintenance, water pump brake, brake caliper brake and 1 transmission line brake. But mechanic is getting expensive and been retired , thought I should do some of the keeping up and minor repair jobs! Since wife has my newer vehicle now I rely on this one for errands and such (she still works)!
