but if not, download the 96 or 95 FSM which has the wiring diagram. You HAVE to know the correct wire colors

thats how I did it, the replacement unit comes with a circuit diagram

Hey there, I subbed just for this thread. Recently got a 96 xj and hoping to get the door locks working with an aftermarket solution. You've got a pretty old post from 2019 that you shared an Aussie website with the write up to install in place of the original IR receiver.
