This is pretty indicative of the build quality of the hitch. Lots of reviews said the hitch did not align with all mounting holes. Even after a lot of beating with a hammer, there were still uneven gaps. I threw in a few washers on the drivers side front to compensate. I converted this XJ from a RWD. There's no accident damage or rust. Even the windshield is original. I'm confident my unibody is as straight as you'll find.
