Would a 2” lift increase the over all height by 2” ?!?!
Im new to the forum. Just inherited a 07 grand Cherokee. I want to sit higher and put bigger tires on but all the inexspensive options only give a 2 inch lift..and the 4 inch lift is $2000(too much). Will the 2 inch kit actually raise the total height by 2 inchs or will it be less due to varying factors.? |
Welcome to the forum. If the kit does what it advertised then yes, it would raise it two inches. Tires on the other hand, for every two inches taller the tire is, it only raises the vehicle one inch.

It depends on what kind of lift it is. If it is spacers and shackles then yes it will be exactly 2 inches since that's how tall the spacers are, if it is new springs then it may sit higher than 2" untill it settles some, sometimes just replacing the worn out stock springs with new ones will almost give you 2" of lift.
