By buddy runs 245 mud claws on his WJ and doesn't rub one bit on a budget boost. Believe it's a 1.5 lift. I don't recommend going past 255 on a 2 inch lift based on what I have seen

Thanks for all the replys guys..
It looks like we will be goin with a 245/70/17 a/t tire which is 30.5 tall and from there he wants to start with the spacers, then he is saving up to get a 2inch lift...
Hopefully if it rubs it is not too bad...

A 2" lift isn't going to change this, but wheel spacers or wheels with a different offset will. You'd have to convert the sizes to 17" for overall diameters, but you get the picture.

A tire's profile, 60/70/75, is the % of tire width above the rim. SO, the tire's overall diameter will be the width X the profile X 2 + the rim. Most good tire websites will list a tire's OD.
Thanks for pointing this out to me..
A 245/70/17 is the same height as a 245/75/16, 30.5 in tall...
I guess he is goin to try the 1.5 spacer first..
