I picked up a Harbor Freight 12K winch, and also installed an electric fan so now I am thinking I should consider upgrading the alternator so that I don't kill the battery. according to my build sheet I have a 117 amp alternator. should I upgrade it and if so what alternators are a good upgrade?

 

I think mine was from a Durango a 130 amp I had rewound at a shop to 160 amps for my XJ, All I has to do was take a die grinder to a couple of spots on the intake as I recall for clearance, its been 4 yrs ago.
