Return HID to Stock Halogens Wiring Problem '98 ZJ
 

Hi!

The prior owner installed an aftermarket HID kit on what is now my rig and I'm trying to figure out how to re-wire it. It appears the original plug from the wiring harness that feeds into the back of the light was cut off (meaning it doesn't exist). My guess is that the three wires I see electrical-taped into two wires of a different color and then into a plug attached the the HID ballast is what's left, but I'm not completely sure. What I'm looking for through this forum is the right color codes of the wires leading to each headlight so I can confirm the three I found are the right three (or not) and wire in new plugs.
