Not to change the subject, but do you have pictures of YETI's cancer so I can keep an eye on mine, know what to look for? I'm only seeing some rust on the rocker panel stiffener so far. Remember this was a PA jeep until 2012.

About the stroker, can you get a scanner on it and check the fuel trim? You've got a bunch of 4.0s around. Throw another set if injectors into it and see if it runs. I put a set of reman Bosch 4-holers in mine, don't know the numbers, but they were sold for the 4.0. The OE Siemens are junk. The plastic coil covers were cracking.

I'll take some and post them tomorrow, but mainly it's the rear lower and upper control arm mounts. I have definitely thrown the idea around of not only the fuel filter but also injectors to see if that makes a difference. I do kind of have access to a scanner but it's either getting my brother in law to bring it to me, or getting the old yeti there. It's still technically on the road, but currently lacking lights and runs horrible so I wouldn't chance driving it, even if I did put the lights back in it lol.

The only problem with the 4-holers is the nozzles are smaller, therefore plug easier. Maybe you could rig up some kind of a reverse flush device using Seafoam or something to clean them out. You'd have to energize the coils too. I'm pretty sure the o-rings are the same size on both ends so you could reverse them in the rail, then pressurize the rail.

I'll give that a try. Mine has Taurus injectors in it , not sure of what they are so much, but apparently that's what the builder used. Don't know what year Taurus they're out of though. He apparently used them because they flow more than the stock ones.

So that's the drivers side, passenger side is much the same. There's actually new metal welded into it that didn't hold for obvious reasons, jeeps to rotted to hold any welds

OUCH! Welcome to Upstate NY! That's about what my 97 ZJ looked like when I sold it for parts! We need to find some kind of heavy gear oil that doesn't stink and pump it thru the frame now and then.

Higher flow rates on injectors aren't going to give you more performance unless you are running high throttle settings like running Daytona! The computer controls mixture by changing on-time cycling. The 4 holers will give you finer atomization for a cleaner burn, however. I noticed quicker throttle response, smoother acceleration, and a slight increase in fuel mileage after I changed mine.

That's very well a option. I didn't figure it was pointful to have put those injectors in, and asked the guy if he'd ever had the PCM reprogrammed to accommodate the upgrades and assumed if he hadn't then the PCM is still giving the jeep essentially the stock fuel-air ratio...it's pretty much going to do what it was programmed to do after all

Just for giggles, I checked about Cosmolene rust preventive coatings used by the military for generations. It's probably the way to go, but at $90 a gallon, it's a little costly. It can be thinned and sprayed with normal painting equipment. Plus, it's going to collect dirt and mud until it hardens. In WWII, they sprayed whole tanks, cannon, rifles, and aircraft parts with it for overseas shipment. Funny thing, the tape they used to seal ammo containers with was called "Duck Tape" by the GIs.

Yeah I'm unsure what to do with rust prevention, have to remove all the surface rust first...thought maybe bed liner but not sure of the bond between that and the metal. If it's strong enough

Rust will completely stop if you cut off exposure to oxygen. Cosmoline is a waxy petroleum product that will soak into the rust and then harden into a wax. It doesn't flake or fall off until many years have past.

So there's the off-set wheels with spacers behind them.. might have to do some trimming.

Your pic brings out a point. Do you know if anybody makes AMBER led light bars or pods? Maybe I'm a dinosaur, but amber fog lights work so much better in snow because they don't blind me with the harsh white light. Also, leds don't make enough heat to not ice up. I've noticed led headlights have heaters in them.

I'm using halogen fogs on my WJ, but they get damaged from hitting snowbanks while delivering newspapers;
