Quick question Re: WJ OME 1.5" Heavy Spring set
Thanks in advance...weird one here. I've been trying desperately to install a 1.5" Heavy load spring upgrade on my 2004 Jeep WJ. Because of backlogs due to COVID shipping delays, I wasn't able to buy a whole set, but instead I ended up purchasing the front pair of springs (ARB 2936 Coil Spring) separately from the rear (ARB 2945 Coil Spring). Since I am a photographer, and carry a lot of gear in the back, I also added the trim packer (Part number OMEWTJPR10) above the rear springs.
First problem: When I got the rear springs, one of them was visibly taller than the other by about 5/8". Talked to ARB USA, and they said it was normal, just put it on the driver's side.
Second Issue: I now have them installed, and the rear sits lower than the front by exactly 1" (even though I added the 5mm trim packer to the rear).
Is this normal? Will they settle in level? Should I just add in a 1" spacer? Thanks again guys!!!
