Lifted wj with 20 inch wheels and mud tire pics?
I'm new too this ....I have a 2002 grand cherokee limited and have a few questions .......first of all I looked all over the Internet to find a pic of one with a small lift ...with 20 inch wheels and 265 mud tires or 33 inch mud ....and will a 3 inch lift work or need 4?.....would really like too see what it looks like .....I know not having sidewalls is not great for off road ....just want to see what it looks like......thank you

IDK, can you even get 20" mud tires?
|
Just for looks yeah ....they have no sidewall

Each to his own my friend. But while stylish, those low profile mud tires really won't work as a good mud tire. If you are going to use it off road, the tire needs to flex or it will just dig holes. If it stays on the street, then go for it. I know of one with 35s on it with pocket flares, but that requires trimming. 31s for sure and33s with bump stopping on a 3" lift

The problem is the no sidewall,When you go off road you have to air down to get the max traction you can.Well with no sidewall you really can't air down because the sidewall isn't there to flex out.If you air down those low profiles you'll end up damaging a rim or popping a bead off.Think of it like trying to run a marathon in bowling shoes.Only way id ever run a 20 inch rim is the axle and brakes won't clear nothing smaller like a 2 ton rockwells and i would have 50 inch tires or bigger on them for that sidewall also.

Not to mention a 33" tire on a 20" wheel looks ridiculous.
