How does this lift set up look?
 

Going to look at a 02 Limited WJ with a 4" lift. I am not well versed in lifts. Here is the set up:

4" Rough Country springs
Bilstien 5100 series shocks
Rough Country adjustable front control arms
Rough Country dual steering stabilizer
Rough Country front sway bar link quick disconnects
Iron rock 1" transfer case drop
Iron rock rear lower fixed control arms for 4" lift
Iron rock rear A arm spacer
Iron rock rear sway bar links
Mickey Thompson baja atz 31"

Did you end up doing the lift? Here's mine with iron rock off road 3" with rough country sway bar disconnects.

Skip the rough country products. They are less expensive, but their springs sag and their general quality is sub-par.

That's why mine only has RC sway bar disconnects and the rest it IROR

i am also not a big fan of rough country. BUT, being it's a WJ that has coils on all four corners, coils don't sag, the bow but not sure if that's a problem with rough country coils or not.

if it's a jeep you are buying, and it has this lift in it already, i wouldn't skip it just for the RC stuff. if you like the rest of the jeep, the RC stuff can be replaced one piece at a time, more or less, as needed.

just not too sure about the dual steering stabilizers.

Guy said there was one small rust spot on the passenger wheel well that was not eaten through. I get there and it was eaten through plus numerous other rust spots on the body and underneath. Didn't even drive it. Waste of time.

Yeah that sucks. I'm kinda used to the rust thing in upstate New York and all, but that's even a deal breaker for me. Granted, I used to restore cars, and I'm used to repairing things of that nature but still, who wants to buy something to have to fix a bunch of stuff? The only reason for something like that would be a rare car or cool classic. Otherwise, for a fairly common vehicle, not worth the hassle. Unless the price reflects that.

Yup, exactly my thoughts. I was willing to repair a little rust but I'm not a body guy and didn't want to get into that. It's not like he was giving it away either.

Yeah and at that point it's whatever. Who in their right mind would pay alot for something that's rotted badly
