Door Speaker Size
 

What size door speakers fit a 97 Grand Cherokee Laredo? The PO blew the stock ones and I'm looking to install some new ones, also if anyone has any recommendations for some that would be great.

The factory 4 door speakers are all 6 X 3/4" (6.75"), though 6 X 1/2" (6.5") and 5 X 1/4" (5.25") will also fit. Your options are virtually limitless, as pretty much anything will fit. You'll need a plastic adapter and wiring harness adapters, or you can just re-drill the speaker screw holes for the new speakers and splice in the factory wiring like I did on my '94 ZJ. :p If you go to Crutchfield's website, they'll throw in the adapters and wiring harnesses for free, so no wire splicing or drilling for ya. :)
