Axle Truss - Worth it?
 

Thinking about them, are they really needed? Which end would have the most benifit from a truss? Thanks.

Worth it and which end needs it depends on what axles you're running and what you plan to do with the Jeep. More info would me much more helpful in helping you decide.

I run a truss on my rear 8.8 and put internal sleeves in my dana 30 front both are from iron rock offroad

I have the D30/35 combo. I do mostly rock crawling and think I put a lot of pressure on that front axle when going down a steep decline or if I happen to hit a rock. I guess that is my main concern. I am planning to beef up the connection points between the axle and frame and started thinking about axle flex in the pricess. Do the trusses interfere with anything?

Personally I would swap the rear with an 8.25, a dana 44, or a ford 8.8. I think any of those 3 would be pretty fine without a truss up to 35s, but a truss wouldn't hurt. For the dana 30 in the front I would do sleeves and c gussets because they won't cause any interference. As far as beefing up the mounting points, the lower control arms I would recommend the weld on LCA skids, and if it's still has both uppers the passenger side upper could be beefed up some, but probably won't be an issue. I have a dana 30 and it's sleeved and c gusseted with LCA skids and an 8.25 that's stock with 35s and they're both still straight and I do not wheel it easy

did you keep the bolt adjusters or made it a fixed hole? This is of course if your lower control arms are adjustable.
