Model: Grand Cherokee (ZJ)
Engine: 5.2
AC Condenser Size
I know this may seem like a really far out and strange question... but when I looked at the size of the condenser on my ZJ it was massive compared to that of say the XJ.
What reasons could one think of that would stop someone from putting a smaller condenser into a ZJ compared to the large one? The line fittings are the same size... I know the bends would be slightly different. But surely the difference between a 4.0 and a 5.2 can't justify a larger condenser?
ZJ Size:
Core Depth (in) 7/8Core
Height (in) 17-1/2
Core Length (in) 24-3/8
XJ Size:
Core Depth (in) 5/8
Core Height (in) 11
Core Length (in) 30-1/4
Just something to ponder I suppose as this would help with better flow to the radiator too.
