98 Grand Cherokee Door Light Problem!
 

So I just got this Grand Cherokee but didn't have time to work on it because I was doing continuing training at Fort Benning, Georgia for Airborne school. When I got back I also have a 97 ZJ same model (Limited 5.2 V8) just different year. So the 98 has a small dent in the driver side backseat, it's not too bad but enough for the door to not shut all the way and is jammed. I also believe it's not pushing the button to tell the Jeep the door is shut. So I swapped the doors from the 97 and traded it with the door that's jammed on the 98, still didn't fix it. Well I decided to change the driver side door too because the guy had a door almost looks like its from a WJ, anyways I swapped it with the driver side door from the 97 and now when you shut the driver side door the light that is on the door doesn't shut off. Anyone know how I can fix that? I'll answer any questions. Thanks, Chase.
